Benevolence

"When did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger..."

Matthew 25:37

At Parkview church of Christ, we have a heart for serving our community. We strive to see the needs and meet them to the best of our ability. Our two main forms of benevolence are our clothing room and our food pantry. Both ministries are open to the community every first Saturday of the month. We would like to encourage those who have excess clothing or food to share with these ministries as we aim to provide for those in need.

Open Doors

10Am

Every first Saturday of the month the Pantry and Clothing Room are open for those who have a need. If someone has  a mid-week or mid-month food need we are happy to offer pantry items.

Other Needs

Once a year we collect school supplies for community children in need.

Clothing Room

Our clothing room provides clothing for the community at no charge. Through the generous donations of our church family and the public, we can provide quality clothing for all ages from infant, children’s, men’s and women’s as well as plus sizes as well as all sizes of shoes. We also continue to improve our methods to meet the needs of our church and community. Our clothing room is open at 815 S. Dewey Avenue on the first Saturday of the month from 10:00 to 11:00.

Food Pantry

Parkview leadership as well as our church family believe that no one should go hungry. During these difficult economic times, and through the generosity of our church family as well as our leadership, a food pantry is provided for anyone in need. For our visitor’s convenience, food is pre-boxed and ready to go to those in need. Our food pantry is open the first Saturday of the month, in conjunction with the clothing room, from 10:00 to 11:00.

School Supply Collection

Each year before the beginning of the school year the PV family collects donations of supplies and monies in order to help our local elementary school students and teachers.

Angel Tree Gifts

Help us collect Christmas gifts for children from the community. God has blessed us, let us in turn bless others.
