"To Be a Church for the Glory of God"
This powerful message challenges us to examine whether we are truly living as a church that glorifies God in everything we do. Drawing from Ephesians chapter 1, we discover that our primary purpose is repeated three times: to be to the praise of His glory. This isn't just about Sunday worship or Wednesday night services—it's a 24/7 calling that transforms every aspect of our lives. The scripture reminds us that while the heavens declare God's glory naturally, we as the church have the extraordinary privilege and responsibility to reveal His character to a watching world. When Paul prays that we might be filled with all the fullness of God, he's inviting us into something radical: to become so saturated with God's presence that His glory naturally flows through our actions, words, and thoughts. The challenge before us is sobering: Are we half-stepping in our faith? Are we compartmentalizing our Christianity, putting on our 'Christian robe' only at convenient times? Or are we allowing God's fullness to energize us to do the impossible, making His glory evident in our workplaces, schools, homes, and communities? This message calls us to move beyond comfortable Christianity and step into the weighty responsibility of truly honoring God in all we do.
